Review on Olloi

Yesterday, I went to Olloi’s showflat. It was very hot day. I bought a bottle of chrysanthemum tea while I am doing site survey of this project.

Back to the topic, there was road repair or upgrading works along the 50 Lorong 101 Changi Road? It was a one-direction road. If you were to come home from work or outside, you need to drive along Geylang Road / Changi Road and make a left turn to Joo Chiat Road before you make another left turn to Joo Chiat Terrace before you reach Lorong 101 Changi. Sounds complicated? Not at all once you are familiar to the estate.


Fairprice supermarket is so near to Olloi. I do not have to mention but you already know it, there are many eating places around Olloi. You are spoiled. Kinex Shopping Mall is about 10-minute walk away. PLQ Mall, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore Post Centre are other newer shopping malls around. What else? UOB at City Plaza, Maybank just outside your house at 62 Changi Road, Caltex petrol station, Geylang Serai Market & Food Centre blah blah blah…


The distances to the Payar Lebar MRT and Eunos MRT are about the same, if you walk. However, I realized that it is actually quite convenient and fast if you take bus. Firstly, they are many bus services along the Geylang Road, Changi Road and Sims Avenue. Secondly the bus stops are quite near to Olloi. It is only ONE bus stop to Eunos MRT station. And TWO bus stops from Eunos MRT to the bus stop. How convenient!


Show unit & facilities


The show flat is behind the shophouses of 81 Joo Chiat Road. There is only one show unit - Type 3AG which is 3-Bedroom Flexi type which floor area of 947sqft. It is a high-ceiling unit. Kindly refer to the floor plans below.


I did not see kitchen when I first stepped into the unit. How great it is!!! In facts, the kitchen is enclosed with large 2-panel sliding windows which also act as air-con access. Decent size kitchen which you will not find it cramped. Loving the colour combination of the wall tiles (white), top & bottom cabinets (white & walnut) as well. The enclosed kitchen comes with timber wood door.




There are four colour choices for bathroom wall tiles: Rosa, Sage, Aqua & Bone

Bedroom 2 is with en-suite bathroom and it is also an common bathroom. Can fit at least queen-sized bedroom. Decent size.


For homebuyers who are looking for super spacious living and dining rooms can consider to remove the wall between the living room and Bedroom 3. It is the optional layout that the developer allows. It is free but homebuyers must decide if they want to remove the wall when purchasing the unit.


Flexi room is an very useful space where it can be converted into study, storage even a guest room. I think combined study with storage is a good idea. Balcony screen is unique and looks beautiful under the sunlight. There are two different colours for wardrobe finishing as well.


For the facilities, good size pool and gym will be builts for all residents. Besides that, pool deck, BBQ pit & BBQ pavilion are also there. Every unit comes with 1 carpark lot, which is important. Haha.


It is definitely a hidden gem condominium development in the eastern side of Singapore. It will be an alternative choice to Parc Esta’s homebuyers who are looking for a quality home in that region, vice versa. Different homebuyer has different needs.


Considered it as a freehold condominium in District 15 from $1622psf or $1.6M only. You can seriously consider Olloi. It offers only 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom units. A total of 34 units. Super low monthly maintenance fee: $250 for units below 1,070 sqft; $300 for units above 1,070 sqft.
